Before I started Thousand, I had never worn a helmet, despite being a long-time cyclist. However, after losing a friend in a fatal bike crash, I knew I had to make a change. Instead of settling for the futuristic-looking helmets available on the market, I took it upon myself to design one.

Thousand was chosen as our company name with the goal of saving 1000 lives by creating helmets that people actually want to wear. This name serves as a daily reminder of our mission and purpose.
